Shadow

With the cast, I walk ever so slowly and the first child in line was trying to step on my shadow.

Child: I'm stepping on your shadow.

Me: Ouch! It hurts you know.

Child: Silly teacher, shadow doesn't get hurt.

Me: You are right, but words do.

Child: But I am always nice.

Me: I know that.

Child: I love you Mr. Jonathan!

Me: I love you too!

This is how we begin the morning in school.

  2. Thanks Ms. Lili,

I was out to rest for three days and then I came back, cast and crutches then walking cane. The children were very mindful and I commend them for their constant show of kindness and care.

  4. Good point Sunny Toast. Minsan nga lang hindi pa rin nating mapigilang magsabi either ng katotohanan o kasinungalingan.

  5. If I were there, I probably would be getting a daily dose of tons of hugs with those cute and sweet little kiddoes!
One thing that is so genuine about kids is the way they care. When they care, they really do and it makes our melt. Glad that youre feeling better. Extra careful still :)

  6. Hello Cher Kat,

Yes, they are lovely children. I stayed in ECE because of them and will probably stay for some more years before I stop teaching for good.

Thank you and will heed your advice. I am being extra careful.

  7. Why are you considering to stop teaching for good? By the way, that's a nice kid.

  8. Hi Mr. Trips,

I have been thinking of stopping for quite some time now and do other things I wanted to do. Nakakapagod na ring makipag baka sa mga bata at magulang. Though I became more patient, I am also becoming easily tired. Besides, there are so many other reasons...
