Stages (May 29, 2007)

I was using the net when suddenly a friend I have not been in contact for almost six years pop out for chat. Boy, was I surprised! We chatted for a brief moment but it reminded me of how I was six years ago. When I ended up the chat, I thought to myself, "It's tough living but you gotta do it." I am just glad that the past six years are some of the highlights of my life. They are not the best but they surely made me a better person.

The Beauty of Colors (May 24, 2007)

It was the last day of the exhibit and I have to be there just to see some more of nature's blessings. I was amazed by the burst of colors that surrounded the ground floor of Paragon. It was a sight to behold. The display of flora specifically orchids was just unbelievable. The colors of each and every flowers commands awe as they are unanimously one of earth's natural beauty.

Unrequited Love (May 19, 2007)

Just the other day while I was reading a short story, the song from Evita the Movie was mentioned and it reminded me of being in love with someone but not being loved in return. Just reminiscing old days. I do not live in memories but I use those memories to strengthen myself, to continue living, valiantly.

You Must Love Me
"Where do we go from here?
This is not where we intended to be.
We had it all, you believed in me…
I believe in you…
Certainties disappear.
What do we do for our dreams to survive?
How do we keep all our passions alive like we used to do?
Deep in my heart I'm concealing,
Things that I'm longing to say.
Scared to confess what I'm feeling…
Frightened you'd slip away…
You must love me…"

Nature's Blessings (May 15, 2007)

It was a hectic schedule, a trip to the Northern part of Thailand on a weekend. But it was a joy to see nature's bounty as we traverse the long and winding roads. With the pouring rain, I knew that nature was working to fulfill it's role, the emergence of new lives, the cycle of nature. I am thankful I can still enjoy nature's blessings.

One Rainy Night (May 9, 2007)

Imagine that you love rain and rainy days. Imagine that you were visited by someone whom you have a big crush years ago. Imagine loving intellectual exchange of ideas. Put them all together on a rainy night, after a wondrous dinner, walking snugly in the rain getting wet, and being with someone you miss for a long time. That was my night, a night to cherish once again. I love life, it's full of surprises.

Memories (May 6, 2007)

I went to Central World Plaza today looking for a bookstore, lo and behold, found the piano shop I visited once with a friend. The place brought back memories, something I wanted to share.

My friend from the US of A visited me once. We decided to go to Central World (formerly known as World Trade Plaza), and do some shopping. We found this piano shop and decided to take a look. My friend asked permission if we can sit and play one of their grand pianos. We did and sang songs from Jesus Christ Superstar, Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon and Les Miserables. It was sheer joy.

There were no applauses, no limelight, no fans but being with one of my very best friend doing what we both like was just pure happiness. I miss her dearly.

In the Beginning

I will start writing blog entries so that I get to contribute even a little to this wonderful world of web. I am fascinated how people get to write their thoughts and experiences for others to see and read. I learn a lot from them, so it is time for me to share mine. I am to start, metaphorically speaking, to leap into the dark.
