Art Auction 2014 Part One

Now is the time of the year again where we put the artworks we made this school year for auction. Last year, we made six children happier as we sent them for Operation Smile. This is an organization that helps children to correct their clef palate. This year, they will once again be the recipient of the money we will try to raise. Posting the artworks to remember the collaboration and artistry in the classroom.

Elmer, The Elephant (charcoal and acrylic)

Silhouettes (acrylic and sponge)

Summer Blossoms (acrylic on canvas)

Reflections ( acrylic on wood)
Throughout the years, the most expensive bid was 700 USD while the biggest accumulated amount for an auction was 6,000 USD. We had been helping out the hill tribes for many years and then Operation Smile. Hopefully, this year we will be able to send more deserving children so we can give them a better smile.

  5. Napakamakabuluhan ng layunin ng auction na ito, sana marami ang tumangkilik para marami ring mga bata ang makangingiti ng sulit! :)

  7. @ Fiel,

Thank you for the support. Mahirap ding mag isip ng artworks na related sa project work topic for the school year pero pag natapos naman, we are all proud of what we made. Isa pa we get to help children smile.

  8. @ Jobo,

Hindi ko alam kung may tatalo pa sa last time. Record breaker yan for all of the four schools. The best part is, nasa bahay ko yung painting as the parents gave it to me as a present for my hard work. Nice noh?

  9. @jep,

Napakalalim naman, lumangoy pa ako para hindi ako malunod sa lalim ng Filipino. Sana nga lumaki ang auction sale dahil 30k ang isang operasyon. Maraming salamat!

  15. @ Christine,

Thanks. I love painting and I have some at home. I also like teaching art to children. It's an expression of oneself. Good luck sa mga paintings mo.
