Last Week Off

It took two days hoping to get myself a motorcycle driving license. After sitting down for five hours in a lecture given in the Thai language, I was allowed to take the test of which I failed, 22 points out of 30 items where 23 is the passing mark. I was disappointed and went home.

What should I do after a MAJOR fail?

1. to daydream?

Skyline along Rama 2

2. to sit down and eat ice cream watching this magnificent view?

Hua Hin Floating Market
3. to walk along the manicured garden?

Eco Garden Path
4. to find someone to pat my back?

Monkeys at Wat Takiab

5. to pray to the spirits to help me next time?

Spirit Houses

6. to fill the mangrove forest with tears?

Mangrove in Pranburi

 7. to report and ask assistance from the police?

Hua Hin Beach Entrance
8. to indulge in sweets and fill my belly?

Assorted Sweets at the Night Market
9. to roll down the hills with my eyes shut?

Khao Takiab (Chopsticks Hill)
10. to seek the help of this elephant who knows how to drive more than I do?

Hua Hin Safari and Eco Park, Elephant Show
11. to drag my feet off to the water and drown myself?

Hua Hin Beach, Before the High Tide
12. to devour all these lobsters in one sitting?

Lobsters Galore at Walking Street
13. to forget and enjoy life?

Hua Hin Beach
It's just a plastic card! There is always a next time so at this moment, I will cross my fingers everyday hoping no police officer sees me driving without a license.

My last week off and on to work again :(

By the way, if you remember the Thai lady whose name is Wanida which I featured in one of entry, she wanted to meet you in person:)
I just told her that I know you and since she came from Thailand, she is interested because you live there:)She asked if you are single and I said, I believe so:)
I show her your pictures in your blog and she said that you look so kind. So you have one admirer here. Well, I admire you too of course brotherly and for your intelligence and kindness:)

  9. @ Ms. Joy,

I remember Khun Wanida, and I had a friend named Wanida as well. Thank you so much for the kind words. I appreciate the comments, he,he.

Ms. Joy, I cannot drown myself or roll down the steep stairs, I will die! I went to a province 300 kms away form the city to enjoy my last week of vacation thus the posting.

The photos are good and maybe one day I get to use a really nice camera.

  12. Truly said my friend MEcoy, and I am going to regret this. I just have to repeat in my mind, after five days it's weekend again. After three more weeks, August is over. After three months, a week off to Macau. After two months, Christmas break! Next summer, off to Europe! Weeh! Then nothing becomes boring.

  13. Lol, good post !

Whatever, do not drive without proper license, please ! We, your blogger friends, do not like you see land up in trouble, hehe !

Wonderful pic, kindly mention where in Thailand these beautiful places are !

Keep on trying, you didn't qualify or the authorities failed to appreciate your driving expertise :), the latter phrase is probably true :), anyways, you will come out with flying colors next time !

  14. Thank you for your faith in me Rajiv. I do not know how to drive a car and the e exam was all about driving a car. E.g., which gear to use while going down a slope. Err, I dont know...

The photos were taken in Hua Hin, +- 300 kms away from Bangkok by car, around three hours drive. There are many tourist spots such as the floating market, temples, water parks of which I didn't visit, night markets, etc.

I will try getting one, maybe in October during my break.

  22. Ha ha ha natawa ako sa tiny failure mo na to! I'm sure it's just a glitz or whatever or sometimes some things are really not meant for us. Yung tipong "everything happens for a reason".

But I love the way you expressed your frustration - positive pa rin.

It took me some time to cooment on your latest posts kasi I'm still following the comment threads from Ambot, Yccos, etc blogs and I'm not even done. Nakaka-aliw.

Good luck on the next test :)

  23. Ms. Balut, it is not a tiny one, I even bought myself a new motorbike, RED! Wahhh, but sabi ko nga during the last test, If I didn't pass this test, I will go to Hua Hin. And I didn't pass, so I grabbed some things from home, hopped int the car and off to Hua Hin. Enjoyed it much!

I know, the entries of yccos reached 105 views while the one of To Friendship is 97. I like the comments back and forth. The bloggers have been very interactive.
