Trip to Wang Khaem and Nai Mueang

A group of friends invited me to visit their hometown in Kamphaengphet for the Songkran holidays (Thai New Year) and although the weather forecast was at 43 degrees, it was still a pleasant trip to see the view of the bucolic place as well as to enjoy their camaraderie.

After touring the place, which was not that big, I opted to stay inside the air-conditioned room as the heat was unbearable.  I was busy being happy, not in a way you are thinking.  ;)

  1. You lucky boy! Everyone wants to bring you places. I always wished to have lots of Thai friends because I have too many Thai relatives. Hundreds of them & you might have seen them too. Friends are always different because they are more sincere and frank sometimes.
This Kamphaengphet might be boring today but its rich history dates back to the glory days of Ayutthaya Kingdom.

  3. Hello TM,

Your comment reminds me of my travels when I started living here. I am always away as I was being invited and dragged everywhere. You have hindreds of Thai relatives, that's a lot!

Yes, some friends are more sincere and frank but sometimes, there are some that are not.

Will probably go around Kamphaengphet next time during winter.

  7. Good morning Ms. Tomoko,

Thank you for the compliment. The photo was from a province in the Philippines taken last January.

I hope you are doing great and have a wonderful break.

  8. Hi there, my good man,

    *leans over for a kiss*

I apologize for my ratty, behaviour, of late. I had been blinded by my rage, and fail to see that you, too, are trying. So very hard. It must have been quite a jump, for you.

I appreciate all efforts. Big and small. I have a clear picture now, on what to do, moving forward.

I do not know if indeed, there is, this forever people speak of. But yes, if it still interests you, I and will sit by you and keep you company.

    Sincerely -

  9. Hello dearie D,

You should as I cried, not bits, but oceanload.

But it is equally my fault, being naive, being dense, being insensitive. I am new at this so pardon for the misgivings.

Yes, of course, please sit, beside me and keep me company.
